Our Story
About Us
WPGV-TV Television was founded in 2022 in Maryland just outside of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. At its inception, the station became the first DMV Minor League Basketball team channel with consistent and diverse 24/7/365 programming. The station broadcasts via online and can be accessed via desktop, laptop, Apple and IOS platforms and is planned to eventually expand to home streaming devices such as ROKU and Firestick. The station endeavors to underscore the overall mission of the PG Valor Basketball team in its commitment to excellence, leadership and public service, by providing a platform for professional quality exposure for the PG Valor Basketball team and its affiliates whether they are local, national or international and to become a leader in broadcast communications by providing quality programming. This extends our missions of being great on and off of the basketball court!
Our viewing community will receive professional sports, youth sports, relevant and informative information, health and spiritual guidance in addition to entertainment. Businesses, brands and organizations will also receive support and maximum exposure for a minimum investment.
We are looking for programming to fill time slots on our station currently at no cost! We have also established a way for those broadcasters to earn revenue. Those details can be discussed after a broadcasting agreement is executed.
